Yoga in the Land of the Rising Sun – Japan

November 5-16, 2019
Osaka, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji, Tokyo

Join us in November for a 12-day Yoga Adventure trip to Japan. This is prime season to enjoy the autumn leaves in multiple shades of reds, orange and yellow. The tour highlights include temples, shrines, World Heritage Sites, bullet trains, onsens (Japanese baths), tea ceremonies, Shinrin Yoku (forest bathing), Mount Fuji,….and oh, the food! Starting in Osaka, we will visit Kyoto, Nara, and Hakone, ending our time in Japan with the last nights in Tokyo.

All along the way we will have guided tours with plenty of free time for exploring on our own. Most of our hotels have onsens, the lovely Japanese baths for men and for women. This is a releasing and luxurious way to end a day, in the natural hot springs, in the quiet. We’ll have the chance to experience Srinrin Yoku, the ancient practice of quieting and deepening into meditation, in the forest of Nara. The Art of the Japanese Tea Ceremony will be taught by a local tea house. All along the way, Leaf Peeping. The autumn colors are outrageous in hues of red, orange and yellow. Tokyo is a world to itself. We’ll have a short guided temple tour and the rest of our time is our own. Daily yoga and meditation classes with Melina or Baxter.
