Yoga for Healthy Aging 30-Hour Immersion

October 7-9 and November 11-13, 2022 (Livestream)

Join us for an enlightening and informative program that focuses on practical strategies for a lifetime of vitality and well-being. This 30-Hour immersion includes research-informed presentations and adapted yoga postures for maintaining physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Yoga practitioners learn to set themselves up for a lifetime of healthy living; 200-hour yoga teachers have the opportunity to receive Yoga for Healthy Aging certification. Classes are recorded and available through the end of December 2022.

What will be covered:

What is the schedule?
Friday-Sunday
8:00am-2:00pm with a one hour break from 10:30-11:30am (PT)

What is the curriculum?
You will receive an outline of everything we will cover a few days before the Immersion starts. If you do not already have a copy of the book Yoga for Healthy Aging, order one now so you can have it during the immersion! *Are there any special requirements if I am a yoga teacher who wants to be certified in YFHA?
Yes, just a few:

  • You must attend all classes.
  • Each teacher will teach a pose for about 5-minutes on the final day, as part of a sequence made up from the Essential Yoga poses in the book (your pose will be assigned). We will give you more info at the start of the program.
  • Successfully complete an open book take-home exam
  • Send us confirmation of your 200-hour level teacher training (send with your completed exam)
