Practicing Ancient Healing Arts
In Harmony with The Cycles of Nature
Seasonal Yoga and Ayurveda with Melina Meza
May 17-22, 2020
Omega – Rhinebeck, New York
Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, is one of the world’s oldest systems of healing. One of the many gifts it conveys is the importance of looking into Nature to find distilled wisdom that can help inspire us in our journey towards optimal well-being. As we are interconnected with Mother Nature, we can more powerfully keep in tune with ourselves by attuning to her seasonal rhythms. In this unique five-day workshop, we’ll emphasize the importance of sequencing for the seasons and adapting yoga postures, dietary approaches, cleansing techniques, daily rituals and lifestyle routines to synchronize with the seasonal changes. Students will learn Ayurvedic philosophy applicable to today’s lifestyle and asanas to strengthen the body’s inherent tendencies toward seasonal imbalances. Melina’s workshop will inspire the self-knowledge to deepen your practice both on and off the mat.
